WORKPLACE & ENVIRONMENT:

  • As a responsible apparel producer, TRIMS LINE LIMITED provides employees a work environment high above the law-required level. TRIMS LINE LIMITED installed and has updated lighting, ventilation and ergonomics of its all production floors using latest technologies like bus bar for electrical fitting, overhead mirror reflectors for lamps, forced duct ventilation and so on.

  • The goal is to exceed requirements of local legislation and reach the global standards, and thereby support clients images and sourcing principles.

  • Clearly demarcated emergency routes & exits, smoke & fire detectors, consciously designed working lay-outs ensure a safe workplace for workers. As per BSCI, SEDEX & ACCORD requirements, instructions and warning signs are posted in highly visible places, inside the factory in English & in local language (Bangla).

  • Moreover, usage of metal hand gloves in times of fabric cutting, needle guard in time of sewing and all other PPE should use by the respective workers to reduces significantly work-related accidents in the factory.

  • Our motto is to ensure safe and healthy work place for all. Our whole factory premise is fully equipped with fire rated construction. Fire doors has been installed in all exit points and addressable fire detection system has also been functioning to tress the source of the fire at its initial stage. And all other necessary Fire fighting equipment’s is also installed as per the guideline of ACCORD and as per global standards.

  • We strictly maintain standard working hour as guided by Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Bangladesh Labor Rules-2015.

  • We strictly ensure the minimum wages and other benefits as per the new garments pay scale declared by the Minimum Wage Board of the Bangladesh govt. We strongly follow new pay scale of the Minimum Wage Board to pay wages and other benefits.
  • Beside this, we pay employees salary and wages within 7 working days after end of every month. (i.e: Salary of “November” should have pay within first 7 working days of December)

Forced Labor :

  • Forced labor is strictly prohibited in our factory. All the employees are fully free to do their works.
  • We have a written policy on no use of forced labor.
  • We do not keep any original documents from the workers such as passport, NID card, educational certificates etc.

Non-Discrimination:

  • There is no discrimination on religion, sex, race, caste, disability, political affiliation in TRIMS LINE LIMITED We have a written policy on non-discrimination.
